Overview
About Me
I appreciate a good balance of old-timy and avant-gardish stuff like going to a museum of modern art and then having s'mores for dinner. I like to feel the power of nature, when the wind seems to blow you over or the weather freezes your hair while walking. That said, I'll work my way up any mountain. But sometimes the mind is strong but the flesh is weak. I definitely enjoy my sloth-time. I am interested in wine and (since I'm bavarian) I love a good beer.
Lately I have been compared to a sponge because of my ability to be fascinated by the most out there stuff. In a seminar, my peers chose a wildcat as a totem animal for me (which pains my dog loving heart a little bit). My friends describe me as easy going, talkative, tidy and straight-forward.
I'm from a food-loving family and I enjoy get-together-dinners.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to facilitate exploring the world in good company. As I read on the ceiling of a Praha monastery: "The only threat to knowledge is ignorance." I believe experiencing the world, meeting people and appreciating those adventures is a good medicine for society.
