Overview
About Me
We are an adventurous family (Jorge, Sofia and little Sara) who loves learning from others and sharing unique experiences. Jorge is an agronomist (Ingeniero Agronomo) and Sofia is an anthropologist who works as an English teacher. Sara is 2 years old. We love receiving guests in our house in Tandil, Argentina, and Sara is very used to meeting new people. We also love cooking and tasting new dishes from all over the world. We enjoy sharing our stories, experiences and our help.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are taking a gap year travelling across Europe, until the end of 2019. We want to try couchsurfing because we are interested in meeting new people and learning about local life and different lifestyles, and we are sure we wouldn't be able to experience these things if we were staying at a traditional hotel.

Music, Movies, and Books
Sofia likes Putumayo World Music, brasilian bossa nova and latin american music. Jorge also likes latin american music, and rock bands like The Cure, The Killers, and others.
We both enjoy going to the cinema and we like watching good dramas.
Jorge adores Gabriel Garcia Marquez and his favourite book is "Cien años de soledad". Sofia also likes latin american writers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Our second date as a couple was an incredible trip to Chile which Jorge planned for Sofia, and Sofia accepted without even knowing where she was going. He asked her if he could 'kidnap' her on the weekend of her birthday, and she let herself be carried. He drove towards the airport pretending he had lost his way and, finally, when there was no doubt they were in the right place, he stopped the car and gave her her flight ticket. There is where we began to dream on travelling together.
