ABOUT ME

I am Sofia, 23 years old and living in Stockholm, the same city as I grew up in. Right now I am in the medical program at Karolinska Institute but I do other things than just study. I love to dance, I prefer salsa but when someone turns on the music I dance to anything, like there is no tomorrow. I also try to learn Spanish and one of my future goals is to speak fluently. I like sports, to be active and discover new things (and people), that is why I also LOVE to travel. Right now I work as a tutor in my school but also I help younger children with mathematics which means that I like to teach and I get very engaged to what I am doing at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the city of Quito from the top of a vulcano, eye-to-eye contact with a sealion at Galapagos islands, a father and a son playing for us at their homemade intruments somewhere in the Andes on our way to Machu Picchu, a mother seaturtle laying eggs in the middle of the night at the beach of an breeding rescue center island outside of Borneo, the amazing trees and wildlife of the amazon jungle.

Teach, Learn, Share

I might be able to teach you some salsa, some of my own language swedish, cross-country skiing and a bit about my own city Stockholm.

In return I would love to learn spanish, how to surf and when I think about it, I would love to learn ANYTHING that I didn´t know before:)
