My name is Sofia. I'm half Danish, half American, and grew up between there and in Barcelona.

I just finished my masters in biomedical engineering in Copenhagen and spend most of my free time with friends and family when I'm not traveling.

I opened a profile a few years ago when my then boyfriend and I were on a road trip in Eastern Europe, and haven't been using it since. This is probably due to the fact that most of the countries I've been going to have had such cheap accommodation and very limited internet options, so it didn't seem worth the hassle. But now I'm back and therefore a little new to it all :)

I'm an deent cook who loves to experiment with local ingredients. I believe in getting to know a country through your senses, and taste and smell are certainly necessary. I enjoy and continue to seek knowledge about many of life's peculiarities and am always up for a good glass of wine or bottle of sake
