CURRENTLY WWOOFING IN NEW ZEALAND

I am a passionate gardener, who loves to grow her own organic edible flowers, herbs and vegetables. For the past 8 years I have lived in Berlin, where I studied cultural studies and art history at Humboldt University and did a lot of assistance work in the arts and culture department (costumes for theatre, PR, children's book editing, translations).

I'm very much into colors, textiles and atmospheres, and like photography, sewing and illustrating. For my studies I did research on so-called Third World political cinema and on postcolonial racism in my home country The Netherlands. After finishing my academic studies I stepped out of my head a bit and I am even more into gardening, body movement, spirituality and creating things with my hands, and also got interested in the healing properties of herbs and flowers. Occasionally I do contemporary and improvisation dance, as well as yoga.

Quit my job, gave 90 % of my belongings away and flew to New Zealand on a one way ticket with only one small backpack.
