About Me

I live in Copenhagen where I am studying veterinary medicine. I have finished my bachelor degree and am now taking a year off to work, travel and relax before starting studying again from september.

This january of 2022 I went to India to spend 1 month to become a certified yoga teacher. Afterwards I went alone to the maldives to explore, dive and enjoy life.

I live in a collegium where I have a small private room and share toilet and kitchen with 7 other students. Unfortunately I don't have space to host people, but I would love to meet up with couchsurfers and show them beuatiful Copenhagen if I have the time :-D

The summer of 2019 I travelled to Greece to volunteer at a cat rescue center in Athen. After two weeks volunteering I had no specific plan and ended up travelling solo in Albania. Two months after being home again I travelled two weeks to Nepal with my study, where I did some trekking in the Himalayas and saw wild rhinos in the jungle 😍

I am 26, I love to travel the world, meet new friends and learn about other cultures. In 2013 I was an exchange student through Rotary exchange program and I lived 6 months in Venezuela, 3 months in Ecuador and 5 weeks in Peru. After I finished school in Denmark I decided to take 2 gap . First year I went backpacking in Asia, Indonesia and Australia for 4 months.
The second year, after working my ass off in Denmark with 3 different jobs I decided to travel to the Caribbean with a friend to volunteer on a sailboat. We found the opportunity on workaway.info. I lived and worked on the boat for 3 weeks and after that I lived 3 months at St. Thomas! I had no plan at all, I wanted to see where my travel could take me. I ended up meeting some amazing people and getting unforgettable experiences!
After that I volunteered in Puerto Rico’s rainforest and volunteered with stray dogs in Costa Rica.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see as much as possible, meet as many new people as possible and I would love to make my travel as cheap as possible. I also think that the best way to explore a new country is to stay with local people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCES:

- In the Caribbean, I couchsurfed on a boat with the nicest couple who made me delicous food and showed me the most beautiful local beach! They were so open and invited me to a beach party with their friends!

- In Costa Rica I was only supposed to stay in San José one night, but my host invited me to her brothers surprise party and a local festival, so I ended up staying there for one week having so much fun! It was so hard to leave them again!

- In Copenhagen in Denmark I hosted a guy from Ukraine. We biked around the whole city and I introduced him to danish food and danish card games at a bar 🍻
