I am 28 years old and just finished studying in Santa Barbara, Calfornia. Now I am back in Denmark, but sadly do not have the chance to host at the moment, since I have no place to live. But I hope to get the chance to host soon - and also to travel and couchsurf some more again!

I think it is a bit hard to describe myself, but like everyone else here, I love meeting new people and love to share my culture and experience other cultures.

As many Danes I have a silly sense of humor - but most people get along with it :)

On a more serious level, I study sociology as a graduate student and love to discuss cultural and scientific issues. My academic interests are broad and span from cognitive science and psychology to computer science and programming.

When I am not studying I enjoy outdoor activities such as swimming, snorkeling/scuba diving, surfing and hiking and creative activities such as photography and making visual art with code.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to meet new people and get new experiences! I am very social and curious and love to get to know new people and other cultures - and to share my own! At the moment I do not have the possibility to host, but I hope to be able to give back to this community sometime in the near future!

As you can see on my profile I only have a bit of couchsurfing experience. I joined the network approximately two years ago and unfortunateky only had the chance to travel twice witin that timespan (Eastern/Central Europe and the US). However, I hope to travel again soon and I am looking forward to get even more new great couchsurfing experiences!

Interests

I love to cook and bake - especially the Danish speciality "rye bread" and "knækbrød" (very dry kind of bread, which is very tasty with cheese). Actually I just like food in general and I always feel like exploring the local food, whenever I am traveling.

I also enjoy going out and listening to live music - and I'm always up for a drink or two :)

As stated above, I also love the outdoors!

The long train rides in India. I love travelling by train!
