About Me
Hi there :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is a genius way to travel. I love the concept of sharing and being part of a platform that enables travellers to live with local people, get to know the culture right from the core and explore the different sets of mindfulness and values. It has always been my personal favourite way to travel around the world since you really get to dive into the culture immediately :)
Interests
I would say I am a very idealistic and individual thinker and my challenge in life is to stay grounded in that.
I really love people and finding out what drives them as an individual. The best honestly to me is to have a very personal chat and just connecting to people and getting to know who they are.
I also love to be active and go climbing, do an acting class, and just do something out of the ordinary that challenges the way I look at myself 😄 I also really love to do anything artistic, singing, dancing, acting, painting, playing the guitar
Music, Movies, and Books
I love anything that has a strong expression and that makes me feel something very deeply. Right now what that is is Hans Zimmer, Jane Austen, Willow Smith, Billie Eilish, Aurora, RHCP, Nirvana, Queen, Grimes, Alt-j, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, but I do listen to quite a lot and what I listen to changes regularly.
I really do love to be very open minded and to have people change my perspective on things I do not really like or can connect to so easily, so feel very welcome to challenge me
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love to challenge myself to continue doing new things, so I don’t get too comfortable in my own little bubble. I really love to keep things interesting and keep the change coming, so I’d say I am a pretty dynamic person and just really like the winds of change.
Talking travel-wise, the things that stick out to me looking back are staying in a tree house in Costa Rica as well as in beautiful Northern Ireland for half a year each, jumping from a fucked up high waterfall since I’m kinda scared of heights, seeing wild horses run along a natural beach, or experiencing very powerful manifestations like ending up working at the exact restaurant I saw in a YouTube video years earlier that inspired me to start travelling, without noticing I ended up exactly there for months after working there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook with fresh vegetables and herbs, especially for a whole group of people and making them feel taken care of and connecting to them very personally.
I’m also extremely interested in peoples emotions, so wether you’re heartbroken or super happy about life right now, I’d absolutely love to hear about it if you feel the need to share with someone 😄
I want to learn more Spanish, if you are interested in teaching me that would be awesome!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in a shared house with seperate living spaces and would love to share the beauty of it with people. We have one unit free atm to share with guests, which we are super stoked about :)
