I'm I was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and I moved to Montreal, Quebec when I was 18. I was raised without a TV so as soon as I learned to read, I always had my nose buried in a book. I have graduated university and now am taking time off to travel and volunteer. I am strongly considering going to tourism college because working in the tourism industry would be incredible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is very expensive, and couchsurfing helps to keep costs low. I haven't done couchsurfing yet though because I really love hostels.

Interests

Reading, writing, travelling, and learning languages. I speak English and German, I am learning Japanese, and I would love to learn Icelandic. I would also like to re-learn French. Sadly, I have forgotten everything I learned in school.

Too many to even begin to list!!!! Off the top of my head, my favourite movie is Forrest Gump, my favourite book series is The Mortal Instruments. I am an avid reader and without exaggeration, I own over 1000 books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I achieved fluency in German, even though I didn't start learning it until I was 18, and I have been travelling by myself since I was barely 20.
