I'm 25 years old. I've always been a curious person in that I find lot's of topics interesting. I studied Archeaology (Bachelor) as well as Psychology (Master) in Ghent, Belgium. I am interested in human nature as well as different cultures. I thrive when talking about topics like cultural habits, health, diversity, art and ancient civilisations. I love learning new languages.

I have done some excavations in Belgium and Italy. I am currently working as an HR Generalist in Prague, my first expat experience.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm afraid I can't provide accomodation for anyone in my appartment in Prague, because it is very small and there is no extra bed. If I would have place, I would love to invite people from all over the world. I see it as something on my bucketlist for the future when I settle in a nice roomy home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed once in Vannes, France. It was amazing, this family was so nice. They made dinner for us , helped me and my friend to go to places worth seeing. This family was so warm and friendly, I had a really great experience and a new heart filling memory.

Interessen

I love cocooning at home, in that I love watching tv-shows and movies, reading a nice book or enjoying very different styles of music. However I also love new adventures and challenges and seeing where my path leads me.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

It's hard to describe my favorite music, as I have so many things I like. I mostly enjoyed classic rock when I was younger, but now I can also mix it up with jazz, worldly music, popsongs and even classical music. It depends a bit on the mood as well I guess. I love putting on some nice music when doing the dishes. :)
My favorite movies are those specials ones from Wes Anderson. But I also really enjoy the Coen brothers, Quentin Tarantino, Spielberg etc.
I'm kinda geeky in that I also love Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
In my reading I enjoy reading modern classics, as I have followed a course about it and I really like reading books that have changed a lot of peoples lives or changed the course of history/art.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Once I stood on top of Gibraltar where I could see the coast of Africa in a distance. It felt amazing. When this happened I was 9 years old. I was surrounded by monkeys, one monkey stole my sandwich. But I was so overwelmed by the view that it didn't matter anymore.

Belgium is famous for chocolate, beer and fries!
Everybody calls them french fries but I guess that belgians eat a lot more fries than french people. And we almost always put mayonaise on top!
