Hello! I am a Californian artist and illustrator ((my heritage is Swedish and German, hence the crazy looking name)) and I am currently based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I am a passionate traveler and obsessive draw-er, and try to travel and explore the world, both physical and meta physical, as much as possible!

CURRENT MISSION
To learn and meet cool people and capture the wonderful things I learn and see in my drawings.
I am a full-time illustrator and am currently on my way to an art residency in Chile where I will begin a children's book based on the region.

ABOUT ME

I am an adventurer. I like to meet people and go places. I also like to chill out, especially with a cold beer and draw unexpecting wrinkley old men with pipes. I'm also obsessed with architecture and old crumbling buildings and history (although I'm terribly bad at it) and love hearing stories and seeing monuments!

I've been to 60 countries as of December 2025!

as far as books, anything by Chuck P. or Henry Miller. Lately I've been really into Daphne du Maurier, and I guess in general I love scary literature and films. I love the movie Labyrinth! David Bowie's crotch is a sight to behold. As far as music... I simply couldn't list everything I like on this webpage, but I can tell you I DONT like Lady Gaga or any of that other bullshit american pop music

I want to learn from and see how other people live and profit from life. My way of living is just one tiny sliver of the millions and billions of possibilities out there! And it makes me sad when people judge me for being american. I want to teach the world that not all americans are McDonalds devouring, wealthy bigots and even though we all speak english, we can vary in all shapes and sizes!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I come bearing gifts when I can (usually about 3/4 of the way thru a trip I run out of Mexican candy), usually kids books, art supplies and Mexican goodies. Apart from that, I create illustrations of you and your loved ones as a token of my gratitude! I also have some crazy stories.
