About Me

Hello there fellow travelers and couch-owners,

From start September I am starting on an awesome creative business school located in Amsterdam called Knowmads. Here I am going to learn how to create and carry out my own projects. Together with my fellow tribe members we hope and wish to be an inspiration to positive change.

The case is, I am without of a roof over my head, and therefore I hope to find some helpful souls to share their couches till I find something more permanent. To then give back the favor :)

All the best,

Sofie

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being social is a fatal part of our identity. I consider myself as an open-minded person with a positive and curious approach to all new cultures, why I simply find CS an amazing tool to create these friendships across the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Queen also Fleetwood Mac. Recently discovered Fat Freddy's Drop.

I can always read the HP-books again.

When I get sick I watch the trilogy of LOTR.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been backpacking for three week in India with my father... that alone is an achievement. Joking aside, that was the most amazing and jet the hardest trip in my life.
For some days we were couch surfers at a home for orphan boys and handicapped men. They took us in, in their daily routine, meaning that we helped cleaning, cooking and praying. Even though these people literally had nothing, they were so warm and open hearted.

Teach, Learn, Share

The ostomy bag was invented by the Dane Elise Sorensen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of good histories from all over the world, but also just random conversations wether it's about politic, traveling or chewing gum.
I of course have excellent humor, so we would be sharing a lot of laughs.. ha.. ha...
Also I would say I'm a good cook, not in any specific culinary field, but i make a killer leek pie.
