CURRENT MISSION
Getting out of my comfort zone
ABOUT ME
27-year-old and still can't make up her mind on what to do with her life, haha. I moved to Norway two years ago to get a job and I ended up staying longer than I had expected.
After falling into some monotonous work routine I forgot that I really enjoy seeing new places and meeting people from different cultures. But now I remember. I recently made the longest trip I have ever done, which consisted of four weeks i Japan. I tried couchsurfing for the first time and really enjoyed it. Japan is amazing and I already miss it even though I only came back yesterday (at the time of writing this).
PHILOSOPHY
Respect your responsibilities as a human and respect other people and their choices in life. You do not have the right to judge what is right or wrong.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I have a roommate I am not able to participate by lending my (roommate's) couch to anyone, but I'd be glad to give tips and ideas of what to see in Oslo/Norway or meet up to show you around if possible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed with three different people on my recent trip to Japan. All of them turned out to be really good experiences and really nice people. They have given me the chance of seeing a place and a country from a different perspective than if I'd only stayed at hostels or guesthouses, and I really respect them for taking strangers into their homes and showing such amazing hospitality and friendliness.
Interests
I enjoy many things, but most of all I like learning new things, and I also find language to be a lot of fun and interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite author: Neil Gaiman. Favourite music artist: Patrick Wolf. Some movies seen recently that I enjoyed: The Intouchables, Strictly Ballroom, Frankenweenie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling to Inis Mor off the coast of Ireland was pretty incredible. Me, my mom, my sister and younger brother rented bicycles and rode across the small, stony (and windy!) island for a day. Ireland has always been a favourite of mine.
