I'm Sofie, 26, architecture graduate. I love traveling and adventuring and am also passionate about architecture, old men's music, strange films, running & snowboarding and wine.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First went backpacking in Scandinavia one summer on my first Interrail ever. Loved it ever since and have been couch surfing in Eastern Europe and New Zealand! Hoping to finally being able to host when I get back to Holland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Few good ones of many: table ice hockey in Sweden, jam and singing sessions in Vienna, rum and tea in the morning (eastern europe of course) and lots and lots of parties.

Intereses

I love music, weird films, traveling and meeting new people, road trips, snowboarding, running, rowing, hiking, playing drums & (bass) guitar, my old records, coffee, Italian wines, reading! Wes Anderson, drawing and painting (a bit)

I haven't come across much I don't like except for economics, spiders and when the wine is finished.

Música, películas y libros

I love anything but mostly Wes Anderson and Bill Murray, or Jean-Pierre de Jeunet. Old Italian films are great, so is Star Wars and Mean Girls (all time fave). Music I will listen to anything: I love J.J. Cale and Bob Dylan and Fleetwood Mac and Simon and Garfunkel and George Harrison. I also like Biggie Smalls, Kendrick Lamar and Mac Miller. Books is the thoughest question, but my favourite book is Franny and Zooey (at the moment).

Algo increíble que he hecho

18-hour bus rides in buses with bunk beds in China, whole families and their chickens on one scooter in China, biking around the country side in China, basically anything in China. Living off cheese and wine in Italy. Couchsurfing experiences in Scandinavia (the best). Traveling around Mordor in a beat-up old Honda. Rowing through the canals of Venice. Getting stranded at night in -20 mid-Norway.
