ABOUT ME
All about me: I finished high school in the summer of 2010 with music, spanish and english as main subjects. Now I'm working and traveling my way around the earth. At the moment Im traveling in Central America with my friend Clara. The budget is low, the material bag full and the creativity vivid so we have made a artesanias business. I hope you can make your own conclusions about my personaliity when we meet. But I can tell you as much as my favorite personal caracteristics are honesty, loyalty and humour.
PHILOSOPHY
'Hay por que llorar?
La vida es un carnaval y es mas bello vivir cantando !'
My personal philosophy must be something like.. Be yourself and send out positive energy and love, and everything good will come your way.
And.. it's okay that life is boring sometimes. Accept.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting and surfing.!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing has brought many good times to my life. I love that 'meeting the locals' has become 'sleeping on the local's couches'. It's very important though that there are clear 'rules' or an understanding for the expectations between the host and the surfer. Things such as - does the host act local guide because she/he wants to or because that they feel that they have to? Does the surfer try to hang out with the host as much as possible because they want to, or because they feel that they have to now that they sleep on the couch? Personally I don't mind showing people around, especially not if we get along very well but I don't mind either that people just stay on my couch and do their own thing. So to MY FUTURE HOSTS: Just let me know what YOU expect of YOUR guests! That makes it a lot easier not to be a pain.

Music, Movies, and Books
I loooove music in all kind of genres. Rock, reggae, lounge, ska, bossa, singer/songwriter, blues, jazz, indie, electronica, dub, folk, salsa, cumbia etc. At the moment Calle 13, Arcade Fire and Rodriguez are in my life.
A couple of years ago I rediscovered reading. It's something I used to do a lot when I was younger. Mostly about horses and tales and more horses.
Now I read some Tom Robbins, yoga books (both spiritual and about anatomy etc), travel-stories like "We, the drowned". I only wish I had more time to sit around and read.
I don't watch a lot of TV but I like watching a good movie now and then. And then I prefer non-mainstream, independent movies with a good story, beautiful aesthetics or a good laugh. The last really good ones I remember watching were "Adele", "The Centenarian", "Samsara" and "Sin Nombre".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Can't chose one moment out of so many. So here comes the answer that covers (almost) all the fantastic moments of my life - TRAVELING!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my languages with you. I can teach you to knit. I can teach you to swear in zapoteco (native mexican). I love cooking and baking and most of all sharing my food so prepare yourself for some healthy vegetarian food.
