ABOUT ME

Hi !
Im Sofie, I traveled my whole life but always with my family, following my dad around because of his job..but now I am finally starting to travel on my own :) I´m still a bit nervous about going to new places without knowing anyone but its something that gets easier. When I travel I love trying the different foods, finding souviners to take home and studying the language. I prefer going to warm/tropical places since I grew up by the mountains of Switzerland but anywhere new is adventure :) Im a bit addicted to getting tanned since my skin has never been this pale since moving to sweden, so I´d like to explore every possible beach in the surroundings. I would love to learn surfing (but Im afraid of sharks) and I want to continue to scuba dive as I havnt been on many dive excursions since I got my diploma:/ I also like to dance and party, though maybe only once or twice a week. Mostly I enjoy being out in nature and seeing things I´ve never seen before.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy right now is justliving in the moment, I also try never to think too much about something before it happens, since I dont want to make too big expecations that cant be fulfilled. I´d rather go in without any specific desires so that I wont be disappointed and I can just be open to whatever happens and hopefully learn something from it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about couchsuring when I was in Salvador in Brazil 2 years ago. I had housing though my language school so I didnt couchsurf but I went to couchsurf meetups and met many people who do it. All the hosts seemed so great and everyone is so open and friendly and wants to show you around. After that I didnt go on any longer trips and stayed mostly with friends and family when I traveled so 've actually never done couchsurfing, but its about time to try!

Havnt seen a very good movie lately, maybe World war Z although it was kind of scary..
Ive started listening more to rock which I like and then being in Brazil has made me really appreciate the carnaval tunes
For books I love Eva Luna and the House of the Spirits, and reading a crime novel right now which is quite good

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed a mountain, though I though I was going to die but we made it and the view/ the feeling was AMAZING
