I'm a wanderer who loves to travel, create art and stories, pet cats, not eat meat, sleep too much, and vainly try to learn Lithuanian so I can speak with my family using more than nouns, verbs and hand gestures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through Couchsurfing I have met, hosted and stayed with some wonderful people around the world. All my experiences have been really lovely so far. I cannot currently offer a couch, but I would love to meet new people and entertain them in the city!

Interests

I enjoy art, music, dance, nature, animals, books, exploring cities, coffee and tea, good vegan/veggie food, studying languages, and having good laughs and conversations with friends. Sharing my interests with friends, family, and momentary acquaintances heightens the enjoyment of everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

Many of my life philosophies can be found in The Little Prince. I collect a copy in the language of each country I travel in. It makes me cry nearly every time I reread it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two summers ago a friend and I taught ourselves to night hike completely blind (or without flashlights) when the stars were out in the Maine mountains. A few scratches were obtained, as well as seeing the northern lights for the first time, countless shooting stars, a small waterfall and rocks where all we did was listen carefully, a much greater sense of balance, and a near removal of fear of the dark and spiderwebs.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to meet up with visitors, entertain them, or help them navigate the city or find other places to crash (though sadly not my own place).
