Traveling is always overcoming our fears, I think. Someone is afraid of losses at the airport or train station in an unfamiliar city or country someone is afraid to ask of passers the way, and someone just afraid of making new acquaintances.

Reading takes me periods, sometimes I read book after book, and sometimes half a year do not take into the hands of a single one. From the Russian classics, "The Garnet Bracelet" Kuprin, "A Moveable Feast," Hemingway and "The Chronicles of Amber" by Roger Zelazny - my favorite.

Regarding the film, my most-most adored directors - Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino. The boundless love of Stanley Kubrick and David Lynch. Aesthetically nice looking movie attracted me no less than the movies with a twisted story.

Music I like cheerful and bright - funk and disco 70s and 80s are always with me, for example, Earth, Wind & Fira. Although it all depends on the time and mood - Portishead, Lenny Kravitz, 30 Seconds to Mars, Grace Jones,Pharrell Williams and many talented performers.
