About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn 5 new languages, read the piles of books I can't stop myself from buying, cook ugali and host a couchsurfer when I'm back in Montreal!
ABOUT ME
The first time I went abroad was the summer of my fiftheenth anniversary, when I got to be an au pair in a French family in Strasbourg. Since then, I've done my best to seize all the traveling opportunities that were before me. Travels are everything to me: a way of life, a meeting place, and the best way to discover yourself.
Spare time is not really something I'm used to - I participate in a lot of extracurricular activities, and I'm also on a board of a parliamentary simulation. Being busy is one of my daily objectives :)
I'm currently studying in Beirut, where I'm completing my law degree before taking the bar exam in Montreal.
PHILOSOPHY
I want everyday experiences to extend the barriers of my persona, my values and my tolerance. It's mainly why travels and new friendships are so appealing to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I'm home, I offer great tours of Montreal, comfy beds when possible and lots of conversation material :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was in Amsterdam, right after a summer spent in Tanzania - it was the best transition from wild Africa to comfy home! I was also hosted in Québec during a roadtrip, as well as in Barbados where Couchsurfers taught me how to appreciate rum on the rocks, play dominos and "lime"!
All over amazing experiences :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Ah, books! The titles are mainly in French, but here are some of my favorites: L'Ombre du vent, Un Parfum de cedre, La vie devant soi, Les Bienveillantes et L'Ecume des jours.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I created my CS profile, I had just came back from a safari in Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater, which is the 7th natural wonder according to UNESCO. It was breathtaking, and I think it still deserves a spot on my profile!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can talk about my love for Montreal for hours - I'm also a big fan of wine and good food, and love exchanging theories about future, politics, and life in general.
