Overview
About Me
----
Last time I updated my profile I was travelling in Brazil, in 2015... not bad! But I find this task sooo boring , so sometimes I prefer leave things as they are.
I am living in Trento (Italy), with three lovely flatmates (ehm... even in Trento I am a sort of couchsurfer, by the way, but they are a sort of family to me), but I am working at Politecnico di Milano and doing a PhD in Brescia. My main research field is waste management in low income countries, which can sound a little bit strange to most of people. As a consequence, I travel a lot: for work I have been in Palestine, Kenya, and I will go in a while to Lebanon, Mozambique, Kenya again...
Some years ago, I spent a bit of time in Wien (Austria) and Alicante (Spain) for internships, and my longest journey was to Brazil (two amazing months).
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to reach a slower way of life.
ABOUT ME
Well... I consider myself friendly, with a lot of interests but not enought time to do all I want. By the way, my friends and my Couchsurfing's guests can explain how I am better than me :)
PHILOSOPHY
"Vous n'êtes pas prêts pour notre monde et sa logique. Il vous faut donc accepter cette misère : vivre la nuit de l'illusion de vos tours mortels." Jean Genet (Le cirque).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm trying to spread CS between my friends ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I did couchsurfing once and I have hosted people several times (me or my flatmates, but it's almost the same) and I have always had good experiences... (not the same for AirBnB, probably because I was used to couchsurfing).
Interests
Photography, theatre, reading, politics, environmental topics.
I was a volunteer in Engineering Without Borders (Ingegneria Senza Frontiere Trento) for 10 years but I am "retired" (the boring old associate commenting everything is going on).

Music, Movies, and Books
Pff. I like reading (a lot, romances, essays, but also graphic novels), and I often forget movies.
Music... mainly popular music and folk, but I like several kind of music, depending on the mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Doing lists really tires me, I can tell you that most of these moments are related to getting in touch with nature (watching Iguaçu waterfalls or visiting the Tortuguero in Costa Rica during the night, on a really small boat) or with extraordinary human works, but also with people and dance...
Teach, Learn, Share
... well, you know how to separate waste, don't you? ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
