I love exploring the world and learning about others, and myself in the process. I enjoy meeting people of all types from everywhere and i'm continually surprised by how sweet and cool everyone is! I'd like to visit as many nations (and disputed territories), as possible.

At University I majored in biology and added a second major in history. I'm practical but i'm also keen to learn about our world.

I tend to make friends whenever i'm abroad and I think this is a great way to get to know new friends!

Interests

My desire for traveling and exploring comes from my love of reading. When I was young, my dad owned a newsstand business and he brought home the papers every day. I was reading four major newspapers on a daily basis starting at a very young age. We didn't go anywhere - hardly ever venturing outside of New York City - but I would read the NYTimes Travel section and the "52 places to go this year" and began keeping a list of places i'd like to explore.

I kept this piece of paper until new technology came along and I was able to save it as an electronic file. It's currently in the cloud. I'm not certain what technology comes next but that list will likely continue to grow faster than i'm able to explore!

I minored in English at University and I taught English for a month while abroad in Kyrgyzstan so i'm always happy to teach what I know. I can also give you advice on how to get an educational certification that's in demand in the US (ASCP). I think at least a dozen folks i've helped have gotten their American working visas.
