Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Seems like the best way to really get to know a place! Also people's lives and stories are always an interest to me. Meeting people when travelling is probably the best way to grow and learn as a person!

Interests

Loving exploring a place by walking with no particular goal in mind! Always looking for a good book to read and I enjoy writing. The world is my dance floor aka I love dancing. I learnt Kathak and Bharatnatyam for several years when I was growing up. I am currently learning Salsa. Recently developed an interest in photography, particularly architecture photography. I find buildings less fussy, unlike people who I find much harder to photograph :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everything I do is amazing ;)
Just kidding, but I am always curious and want to try new things. If they are amazing, I guess it's just one way to look at it. But some of my adventures so far have included spending an entire night on the streets in Mumbai (For fun), Ridden an elephant and a camel at some point, Walked barefoot for many kms in the pouring rain past midnight on the streets of Goa, done several walking tours of Los Angeles, snorkeling around the coral reefs off the coast of Maldives, etc. There are probably more stories to tell!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Hindi, maybe some basic Salsa moves, and a whole lot about architecture. If you believe you don't care too much about the latter, I hope to change your opinion on the matter. I believe that we are essentially "different people in different places" and a space can define who you are, providing you with a sense of identity. It certainly plays a larger role than you might realize :)
