About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am on a journey to the fullest person I can be. That means I'm learning to be a better parent, spouse, friend, sibling, son, neighbor, and community member.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a suburb in Washington state in a big, warm extended family. To attend college, I moved to Seattle and have lived there ever since. As young person who had never traveled internationally, I dreamed of seeing other countries - this desire led me to Couchsurfing. While in college, I was able to travel to Spain, Canada, and Taiwan. Since then, I have become rooted in Seattle.

My time is spent parenting, living life with my spouse, doing community organizing work, and doing paid work at a bakery. I enjoy hanging out with my family, baking, cooking, gardening, going on long walks, and talking with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did an exchange program in Spain, and was a guest to couple of very kind hosts. Later, I couchsurfed in Taiwan and was fortunate to meet a generous host and a companion who showed me Taipei. At home in Seattle, I attended one or two Couchsurfing meet-ups.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a guest in a few beautiful places: Pamplona (Spain), a village in the Basque Country, and Taipei (Taiwan). All were great experiences, thanks to generous hosts.
