About Me
ABOUT ME
I love making things with my own two hands - be it sweaters, drawings, furniture or tasty food. I usually have to kick myself in the ass to finish all of the projects I start, though.
I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures. I always try to keep an open mind.
I'm a vegetarian, and I love to cook. A potentially wonderful combination for host and surfer alike?
Oh, and I'm an introvert, but a lot of people are surprised to know that ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I always hate answering these questions because there are too many good movies, musicians, and books!
Books that I can't put down, and/or stay with me for a long time after I've finished the last page.
I am a huge movie buff, but I don't generally care for blockbusters. I really like documentaries, art house, and independent films.
I like lots of different kinds of music, too. There's probably something from every genre I could find myself listening to. Good musicians are good musicians!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked through Thailand for three months. Nothing original these days, but I did get charged at by a wild elephant in Khao Yai National Park. That was a little more terrifying than amazing, though.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to knit yourself a toasty sweater if you live somewhere that gets cold!
