ABOUT ME

Hello to whoever is reading this, what im writing here is just some random information since most information about me is already written in the other columns.

I am from Skibby in Denmark, which is a small and not very intersting city in the part of DK known as Sealand (Sjaelland). I live here with my family, which consists of my parents and my little sister. I have lived in Denmark my whole life and have never really thought of moving away, but of course, things can change, who knows?

I try hard to be as open minded as possible, so that im able to achieve knowledge from whatever kind of things and people i stumble across. I try not to judge people by their appearences, although i dont like nazis and similar idiotic types...

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that rascism is generated through ignorance and i believe that travelling is an excellent solution to this if one is open to it. Many of the problems in our world comes from not knowing or understanding other peoples cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment (2010), im travelling the states with my friend Ditlev, so im not able to host. But i enjoy meeting new people and i am pretty large type so i dont have a tight set of rules to follow. Guide, friend, wingman i can be whatever you want as long as its a great time.

Interests

Travelling (surprise!), not only sightseeing but most important to meet people and learn about different cultures. Many members from my family has traveled a lot, and listening to their stories has been a huge inspiration.

Nature. Hiking and camping is some of the best things I know. One of my requirements for a future job is to be able to work outside, i cannot see myself in a cubicle or similar.

Sports. I have never been seriously devoted to a specific one, i just like the excercise and to team up and compete in any sport (Curling not included)

Other than that i am very interested in movies, i like to analyze and discuss them. I play a lot of computer, and i read a lot of books.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very broad taste in this stuff so im not gonna be that specific. I like all kinds of genres, most of the stuff i find interest in is things i have read about, or been recommended, not that i dont look for things myself, but i like to get started some where and start further researching from there.

Favourite movie of all time is The Big Lebowski by the Coen brothers. Really a entertaining piece. The Coen brothers is among my favourite directors bcause they make movies that spread across genres so in some cases its hard to define whether its a comedy or some kind of weird thriller.

The book On The Road by Jack Kerouac. Inspired me to travel, not that i would experience the same, but it gave me the interest needed to do so. Other favourite wrighters would be H.S. Thompson, Hemingway, Jan Gilou

I like all kinds of music, and im always open for something new :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sharing beer and stories with a homeless person at a metro rail station in downtown Copenhagen. My friends and i had to catch a train but ended up spending a couple of hours talking with this guy named Carol. Not that amazing, but a fun experince since he had a lot of stories to tell.
