About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To go with the flow, but squeeze out overy last drop of experience while doing so.
ABOUT ME
It´s so hard to fit all about me in a little box, but I´d hope that we are all more complicated than a box, so here goes. I have a dry sense of humor and love the irony of life, so I am always amused. I like to work hard for something and then relax fully with no guilt. I would love to have the type of life that is so interesting and multi-dimensional that I´d have no choice but to write a book about it. I´ll be a writer someday and I´m gathering the material right now.
PHILOSOPHY
This is an interesting question because I'm constantly honing my personal philosophy. I live my life to experience everything fully. I never ever want to be stagnant - but constantly growing and changing and learning. I definitely want to make a concrete difference in the world. That's why I work in development. I try to go with the flow and take the opportunities presented to see where they take me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting when I can, hanging out when I can't, surfing while I travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted for years in Atlanta, became a hub for couchsurfers in my little town in Paraguay while I was in the Peace Corps, and surf every time I travel. I've been around the Americas quite a bit and it's all thanks to couchsurfing.
Interests
I write, read, love music, do yoga, meditate, cook, and it seems like there´s always something new and fun to do, so I do that whenever it comes along. I like kids (other people´s), having impromptu dance parties in my room, spending lots of time with friends getting nothing accomplished. My favorite thing to do is sit around the kitchen table with my friends and talk for hours, listening to music and hanging out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done so many amazing things... um, skydiving 3 times, bungee jumping in costa rica, ziplining through cloud forests, jumping off bridges or waterfalls or into caves in just about every country (aparently I'm big on jumping off high things), rock climbing in Paraguay, sliding down waterfalls in the DR... but i really loved whale watching in the DR. We saw so many whales and it just makes you feel so small!
Teach, Learn, Share
It's a nice gesture to do a little extra favor while you're staying with someone- cook or wash the dishes or something. For the hosts, it's nice to have people that know about different cool things to do in the city and can suggest things or even show them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lots of good stories and interesting conversations.
