My name is Chhoeung Sokhoeum .I am a student still. My family background is nothing surprise at all. We are farmer and having a very ordinary life style. I am graduated from Dewey international university , (DIU), IEAPs from PANNASATRA University, and complete my English course from Australian for Cambodian Development (ACD)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was recommended by a friend while she was visiting my home town in Battamabng. I met her in Bric a Brac hotel.To me, I feel like meeting new people across , nations, races, and crossing culture is really enjoyable experiences. Besides, I am so extrovert too, so it is some kind of fun.

Interests

Learning, contributing, sharing , exchange and receiving the knowledge, culture and experiences. Traveling and taking pictures are my favorite Leisure hobby, but I am not professional. I am not in to sport , but cycling and trekking are what I love so far aside from other sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my life . Beyoncé, Rain, and Shakira are my favorite international singers. I love to watch Harry Porter and most of fantasy movie, yet i hate to watch fierce or aggressive movies. Regarding to books, i love to read scientific and documentary books. History is the subject i am interested in the most, so i especially like to read history books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to save 4 lives . Two young men from deathly accident and other two young boys from drowning.

Teach, Learn, Share

Used to work in the local orphanage , Orphanage for Cambodian Children Organization as volunteer teacher and senior teacher.

I am graduated from Dewey international university , (DIU), IEAPs from PANNASATRA University , and complete my English course from Austrian for Cambodian Development (ACD)

I am now working on my own small project , supporting poor local people in my community and provide them such food and school supply to those poor families, kids, and those who are the victims of aids.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since Cambodia used to be a great empire with splendid civilization, there are thousand of ancient temples in Cambodia, yet there are four in my province.

Being a host , I can recommend places to stay , eat , visit but hard to host at my home as it is small house with three tiny rooms, plus my family is extend family.

Regarding to my hometown I can show all my honorable guests around, since i am also a local tour guide. I guarantee that , those who I would host will have a great experience to see local people, experience and knowledges about khmer culture, history and having fun. Visiting four temples which was built in 11 century , killing cave , bats cave, bamboo train, ....
