I was born in a refugee camp on the Thai/Khmer border during the Polpot regime and war in Cambodia. I spent the first 8 years of my life there. After that, the UN sent my family back to our home province in Cambodia (Kandal Province), then my family and I moved to Phnom Penh in 1993. I attended school and university and received a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance, and MBA. After that I was able to get a job with an international NGO (a Spanish organisation called Paz Y Desarrollo). For the last 10 years I have been the Head of Finance and Administration for PYD. In the last 10 years, I have been able to travel for work and holidays. I have been to Spain, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Singapore. I recently got married to an Australian man. His name is Karl (you can check his profile from my 'Couch surfing Friends'. Since then we have travelled together to Australia, Malaysia, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, England, Wales, Scotland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Indonesia, Slovenia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia. I love traveling, coca-cola, fashion, going to the movies, prohok, pop music, cooking, shopping, food, coffee, pong thia koan (some of these things i will have to explain when you meet me), bok lahong, samlaw matew, BBQ! In the future I really want to have children, and I really want to become a business woman!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to meet new people from different backgrounds and cultures. Because I want to learn about foreign countries from the people who live there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am very proud that I completed my Degree and Masters at university, and achieved the position of Head of Finance and Administration for an International NGO here in Cambodia. I am very proud of my self that I able to travel around in the world, I am 35 years old and I have been visiting 29 countries!
