About Me

My name's Sol, living in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Im an addict to books, i've worked as librarian two years of my life, so, if you like books, we can be friends. Right now, i'm located in Palermo, Capital Federal. It's near of the best places of the city: the center, art places, restaurants, parks and more.
I can't take guests because my house is really little, but i can go out for a beer or maybe to show some museums (i know a lot of the city).
I've a cat, so if you like animals, we're going to've a nice chat.
I speak english (not so well, but i've good understanding).
My native language's spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot because one of my last jobs was in a library: i worked for El Ateneo, the most famous bookstores in the country. Some of my favs’re McEwan, Nabokov, Carver, Hornby, Carrerè, Lemaitre, García Márquez and Coetzee. I also like argentinian writers, like Borges, Bioy Casares, Carrá, Jeanmaire and more. I’ve a lot of books.
I also love movies, specially some directors, like Luis Buñuel (who’s my favorite), Chabrol, Fellini, Haneke, Lynch, Miyahazaki, Fritz Lang, Bergman, Welles…the cinema of the 20th century are really, really good. I can spend all the day watching movies. Here in Buenos Aires, we’ve a lot of cinema festivals, very cheap and nice. One of the most knowest place’s called ‘’El Cultural San Martín’, located near to the Congress. It’s a nice place to see a lot of art.
In the music, I often listen the same things: Piazzolla, Gotan Project, Daft Punk, Soda Stereo, Pink Floyd. But the new things’s always welcome!

What I Can Share with Hosts
