One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Most Fascinating Thing I’ve Done

This is such a tough question! Mainly because I believe that the most beautiful experiences are often found in the smallest moments.

If I had to choose, one of the most incredible experiences would be watching the sunrise in Bagan, Myanmar, from a temple far from my hostel. A girl from Malaysia and I got there on an electric scooter that was almost out of battery. The road had steep climbs and descents, so on the uphill sections, one of us had to get off and walk because the scooter couldn’t handle the weight.

We finally arrived just minutes before the breathtaking sunrise, only to struggle to find the entrance to the temple in complete darkness. But we made it—just in time to witness the first rays of light illuminating the ancient landscape.

Another unforgettable moment was seeing the first morning light over Machu Picchu (yes, I really love sunrises!). Experiencing the ruins in the early hours, with almost no people around, was truly magical.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share the perspective of someone who was trained in science but one day decided to step outside and explore what else the world has to offer. I love exchanging experiences and thoughts, sharing the lessons I've gathered over the years.

With great pleasure, I can also teach you a few bachata steps if you're up for some dancing! And if you enjoy good food, I'd be happy to cook something delicious to share.
