ABOUT ME
I'm Japanese Astronomer, planetary scientist, working at a national university in Taiwan. I've been lived in Prague of Czech Republic (2 years), in Honolulu of Hawaii (0.5 years), and then arrived Taiwan in 2008. Since I've never lived in English speaking countries(Japanese is useful in Hawaii), my English speaking is moderate. I love wonder especially mysteries in nature that is the seed of science.
PHILOSOPHY
Science is what you know, philosophy is what you don't know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2005 we've visited an near-Earth asteroid "Itokawa", landing on the surface of asteroid by our spacecraft "Hayabusa" which brought asteroid samples back to Earth in 2010. In 2003 I saw the spacecraft launching off from the Japanese rocket center, saying "Itterrashai--See you gain". In 2010 after 7 years space journey, I welcomed the spacecraft's atmospheric re-entry from Australian desert, saying "Okaeri--Welcome home!".
