I enjoy running (really far), exploring mountains (and canyons, and trails and wild places), drinking coffee (and seeking out funky little off-the-beaten-path cafes that make it), reading, writing, and sharing conversation with folks from all walks of life and every part of the world.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

In 2013 I traveled to Europe to run the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (168km ultra marathon through the French, Italian and Swiss Alps). I met some incredible friends, and the experience inspired me to continue to seek out and explore other mountainous regions throughout the world.

I love to cook and entertain, but I'm also happy to stay out of your way if you prefer. I tend to be a minimal disruption traveler.
