About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to explain visually the wonder of understanding things... in short, make documentaries...
ABOUT ME
I'm myself, and that's something I'm sometimes very happy with, and some others not so much :)
PHILOSOPHY
Contradictions are generally wrong. If I contradict myself, that's a problem that needs to be solved... soon!
Everyone but me drives awfully bad! :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was shown around beautiful Lviv by our host. Really really nice town, and nice views.
In Stockholm we could enjoy intriguing stories by the fireplace while outside it was -10C :)
Interests
Filmmaking
Learning languages.... it's nearly an addiction!
Computers, programming and Linux.
Hiking, trekking and generally taking my camera out to the mountains and get tired using it (I love to get tired).
Sports, but please no mainstream sports in the country where I live, such as soccer or basketball.
Music, I play some instruments, even if I don't do it perfectly well.
Watching documentaries, and TV. I enjoy French arty tv shows...
Listening to music, I have my own internet radio station with some favorites... of course not what you hear on your local radio.
Mathematics... I wish I knew better mathematics.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like pop music bands like Briskeby, Kent, Vama Veche, Bluvertigo, Irina Florin, Diafana Krina, Mylène Farmer, De Mens, Kasia Kowalska, Elisa, La Granja... very European, yes.
I love folk music, especially Celtic, Scandinavian, Provenzal and from Northern Spain.
My favorite movie is "Den Osynlige", and I like computer-animation movies, more because of the technical display than for my interest in the story/characters/etc...
I also love comedies, if they are truly funny, and many are not.
I have a problem with reading because of some eye problem, and I basically read only non-fiction, be it essays or course-books :D I only read fiction in languages that I don't speak but I can understand (like French, Portuguese, Danish...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I survived a 27 hour-long train trip with no water, no food and no money crossing Hungary, Romania and half of Bulgaria (Budapest-Sofia with Transbalkan), sharing my department with heavy-smoking Bulgarian-Turkish shoe-smugglers.
I saw the most awesome sunrise within plane Madrid - Amsterdam, over France... The clouds up, the sun down, and beautiful colours everywhere... just amazing :)
I missed a solar eclipse despite the fact that I was at the perfect location for seeing it (Munich, 1999).
I got a €1.00 driving fine in Italy!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you guitar chords, short Spanish sentences, why baseball is such an awesome sport, the rules to make a well composed photo, how to cook some Mediterranean dishes, anything about Geography and how planet Earth works as a whole and why climate change matters, the Cyrillic alphabet, how to make a short movie... :D
I'd like to learn to play drums, Morse code, to prepare some yummy food from your country, dance properly...
