Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Currently, I've been watching more indie films but I also love comedies. I'm the one who sits in the movie theater and gets so into a good film that I'll yell something at the screen without thinking.
Music: Variety is key with me but I go through phases. Lately, it's R&B, Dance, Blues, Funk, Salsa and just about anything you can dance to. I was a big Duran Duran fan growing up, and Pink Floyd or Steve Miller were always in my cassette deck. I think I've expanded my interests a bit since then ;)
Books: I read more nonfiction than anything else. I recently stated reading Malcolm Gladwell and I enjoyed The Jungle Effect by Daphne Miller.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My trip to Mexico was amazing because not only did I get to view the ruins like Chichen Itza (as well as a archaeologist guided tour that aren't tourist attractions, but I had the opportunity to serve children an impoverished Mayan village. Definitely a life-changing experience.
My trip to Mali, Africa changed my life. More on that later...
