About Me
Vivir, aprender, compartir. / Live, learn, share.
Fracasa, fracasa de nuevo, fracasa mejor. / Fail, fail again, fail better.
Maybe my greatest passion is theatre. Welcome people that feel Theatre as an sacred encounter between people.

"The only true hero is the collective hero."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am in CS since 2005 and I keep feeling no encounter is casual, every person we meet transform us a little.
I like the people that recognize that it is a big privilege to travel and are grateful, trying to make good to every place they go, sharing stories, LISTENING, smiles and joy.

Music, Movies, and Books
AUTHORS Chimamanda Ngozi, Samanta Schweblin, Mariana Enríquez, Adrienne Rich, Leila Guerriero
Favorite movie, can watch again and again:
The Cave of the Yellow Dog by Byambasuren Davaa
MUSIC for everyday: TANGO
The music I fancy changes constantly: one morning I may want to listen tango, huapango, son jarocho, other day, Brahms and the next silence. I can't tolerate LOUD NOISE , but will suffer politely.
Some books I read with special love: El Eternauta, The purple hibiscus, The Confederacy of dunces, Rulfo's Pedro Paramo, Saramago's Cavern, The invisible girl from Tove Jansson. I am loving Chimamanda Ngozie and Toni Morrison as I once enjoyed Alejo Carpentier, as Witold Gombrowicz and B. Traven. Rosario Castellano's poetry is my constant favourite but oh my Lorde! Audre Lorde has been my latest poetry tremble.
I like movies very much, specially the ritual of being in a cinema. Three favourites that I can watch again and again (and I think they resume the rhythm and stories I enjoy): Pina, The cave of the yellow dog and Brief Encounter (1946).

Some books I read with special love: El Eternauta, The Confederacy of dunces, Rulfo's Pedro Paramo, Saramago's Cavern, The invisible girl from Tove Jansson. I am loving Toni Morrison, oh she is awesome. I also enjoyed a lot Alejo Carpentier, Witold Gombrowicz and B. Traven, but the last years I am focused in female writers and it has been amazing. Rosario Castellano's poetry is my constant favourite.
-Ahora tener miedo y puaff, seguir adelante.
-Fallar, fallar de nuevo.
-Survive.
-Step out of my hammok after a month inside with no desire to live, like a caterpillar in tranformation or a bear on a vacation.
-Ten days of Vipassana Course many years ago. Now, be afraid and keep going.
-Fail, fail again.
Teach, Learn, Share
Juguemos, hablemos, bebamos café.
Let´s play, talk, drink coffee.
I wil probably try to convince you to visit me to Mexico and would really love to share with you part of your day, specially if I can volunteer or find myself useful during my stay. I am very fond of museums and would love to share a visit with you, I loved to share Anthropology Museum with surfers in Mexico, I love revisiting.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Love to chat, share a good coffee, play boardgames.
I can tell you a story. My storytelling first teacher Mayra Navarro said you must be vibrantly alive to start the fire of a story, my second teacher, the wonderful griot Dr. Amina Blackwood Meeks, who unites storytelling and historical reparation, has made me feel we find the stories in the people we are telling the story to. Thank you for giving me stories, I hope we can share something meaningful together.
