About Me

ABOUT ME

Friendly, out-going person, love to travel. I am studying Clinical and Health Psychology at University of Bangor and this is my second year! I am originally from Korea but moved to England when I was 17, so this is my 5th year in the UK. I lived in few cities in the UK, Portsmouth, Exeter, Coventry and finally settled down in Bangor now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have started couch surfing when I was travelling iceland last summer. I have always been on couch surfing but that was the first time that I actually participated in surfing/hosting in someone's place. I had a really good experience with it, so continued doing it when I went to travel South America this summer. I surfed at people's places in Brazil and Argentina. Also, received few surfers at my place when I was back in Seoul, Korea for the summer holiday.

Interests

singing, music, musical, reading, travelling, meeting new people and.. Psychology! I like meditation, tango (oh I love tango.tango music and dance. its my passion) and last but not least, I love partying :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to South America in the Summer even though I could hardly make a conversation in Spanish. I went to Colombia, Brazil and Argentina and had awesome time there. would have been better if I knew if would be winter there in summer time haha. Even though I had to struggle because of the language barrier, I had an awesome time catching up with my old Colombian friends in Bogota and Medellin, surfing in couch host's places getting to know new people discovering new places.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, because my degree is Psychology and I love Psychology I can tell you few things about Psychology :) Or I could teach you Korean or English if you want to learn or improve your second language. I can also help you with meditation because I have been doing it for few years. I'd like to improve my Spanish because I am taking Spanish class from this semester but my Spanish isn't still that good. I'd share my travel experiences from UK, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, France, Czech Republic, Iceland, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina and Philippines. Also I'd like to share about our different cultures!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to cook yummy Korean dishes for the host or any kinds of food because I like cooking! (as thats what I have done for my past hosts and they liked it) and offer a good company because I am a good listener and love getting to know new people.

Countries I’ve Visited
