I am Yoann, and I am currently travelling with my neighbor Armande. We made a profile for both of us, so it would be easier to ask for hosts, and put updates.

Armande : I currently work in a workshop called Bureau Vallée, I am 43 years old, I love beer, and I like to cook.
I'm a mother of 3 children (18, 15 and 11 years old). I am very sensitive, I cry in front of every movies. My children like to kid me because I started travelling late (around 37 years old) so I'm kinda scared in unplanned situations. Nevertheless I am ready to discover new countries, new people and new food. Even tho I didn't travel much, I have experience and memories that made me stronger, and made me open minded. I sometimes paint faces at home as a hobby. I like movies, especially the awful ones on Netflix :)
I have a ton of plants at home, I love plants !

Yoann : I currently am a painter, I work on my own. I travelled often when I was younger because I made graffitis and stickers that I liked to put everywhere. I am a father of 2 children (21 and 7 years old). I like to create little statues/figures out of iron wire as a hobby. I am fond of art as well as Armande. I have my own vegetable garden, hidden behind the house.

Armande and I are neighbors, we basically live in the same house but our homes are separated (legally we live in different flats, our homes aren't connected from the inside, you have to go outside to go to my flat or her house and vice versa).
Our favourite dishes are la tourte aux pommes de terre, crêpes, couscous, tartiflette, basically everything from everywhere.
We love to joke about everything, we love sarcasm, irony, dark humor, but also lighter jokes and stuff !

We both vape and sometimes smoke... We don't mind not smoking in the homes of our hosts or in front of our guests if they are annoyed by the smell or anything. Your house, your rules ! :)

We speak english but we are not super fluent, but we'll try our best around people, hosts and guests, to speak as good as we can. We'll speak with our french accents though (so seducing !)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on couchsurfing to travel another way, make friends, meet people, discover other cultures.

Yoann : I try to speak the language when I go to a country, so couchsurfing might be the best way to improve my languages skills and it could be a fun way to learn also.
Armande : My daughter did some couchsurfing and told me so much positive things about it, I thought now that we can meet so many people from around the world on a click, I'll give it a try and I hope it will be an exchange of positive things and so... Happiness basically.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Armande : I delivered my two first children without peridural :) (I am a warrior)
I created the shelves at work where our products are sold.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach french language, french cuisine, french wine (lol) and stuff about positivity.
We are willing to learn every language, every dish, every way to do stuff in another country, every culture and to open our minds more.
We want to share great discussions, good wine and food, great things, our positive mood, elevating feelings, everything that can put us in a greater place than we already are.
