ABOUT ME
Hello y'all!
My name is Soline, I am a French student currently studying in Hattiesburg, MS. It is my second year in the US, and I must say that I really like this country! Throughout these two years, I've had the chance to travel around the country quite a bit, but I still feel like I am not done discovering North America. I am easy going, always willing to share about my culture and to meet new people.
I have had the opportunity to try different ways of travelling (hotels, hostels, airbnb road trips...) but there is one that I would really like to try now: couchsurfing. I really like the concept of couchsurfing: it is a great opportunity to meet nice people, to share about our lives and also to experience the real "local" life.
PHILOSOPHY
I think that in life, you need to take the most of each moment. I am trying to seize the moment, to enjoy every single moment that I spend here because I know that I will look back at these years in the US as an incredible experience!
Interests
I am pretty much open to everything.
I enjoy listening to music. I basically like any type of music and I spend most of my time discovering new sounds on Soundcloud (I don't know what I would do without this website).
I also spend a lot of time looking for other places where I could travel. It keeps me busy when I am not studying...
Oh and I am very greedy and love to share so I bake A LOT of desserts: crepes, mousse au chocolat, cakes... Pretty much everyhting with chocolate in it, I will try to bake it.
Since I am a French girl, I definitely love shopping, even if I'm trying to save money for travelling.
I also discovered that I was really interested in Sociology. I discovered that when I took a Race and Ethnicity class this semester. I am thus trying to read a little more about it.
I will finish by saying that I love animals! Back in France I have a cat, two dogs and a horse! I missed having pets so much that I actually managed to get a cat while I was in MS!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've seen is the sunrise on the Grand Canyon. We drove all night long from Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon with three of my friends last winter. Arriving there at 5am and looking at the sunrise was definitely worth the journey!
