About Me

Engineering student from the uk

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel to see the world and the people in it. It is very easy to visit so many countries but never truly understand their culture or talk to natives. I find couchsurfing a great way to prevent this from happening, and would like to return the favour once I graduate and have a house of my own

Interests

- As a mechanical engineering student I am a huge Formula 1 fan so dont be surprised if I'm visiting your country over the grand prix weekend!
- I am very social and would never say no to going to the pub with a few friends
- I enjoy outdoor activites such as walks, bouldering and cycling
- I have recently started playing squash and am looking into joining a club
- I would be lying if I said I don't love to watch movies and TV series on a rainy day either
- Finally I am really in to coffee and whisky and may even be able to share some whisky knowledge

Music, Movies, and Books

- Im a big fan of folk and country music, as well as some rock (not the typical 22 year old). However my favoirite singer by far is David Gray.
- currently reading a book called ‘Notes on a Nervous Planet’ which is about how we can deal with the stresses of every day life
- I'm a big fan of Hugh Jackman so anything with him in it.
- I like really confusing movies that require a lot of thinking (The Prestige is possibly my favourite)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked all the way from Sheffield UK to Split Croatia in just 9 days (it was a charity event)

Teach, Learn, Share

- I can teach you weird English slang and basic guitar skills
- I'd like to learn more languages (I'm the typical non-bilingual Englishman)
- I can share many stories from travelling

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer you my bad jokes, funny stories and unneccesary whiskey knowledge
