Hi ! :)

My name is Solveig, and i'm currently working in 2 theater companies in Paris. About my personality ? I guess it's always hard to describe yourself... But as far as I know, I'm quite a joyful person, always willing to discover new places, cultures, activities... and people to share it with :).
I'm curious about almost everything, and any chances to learn would easily make my day !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When travelling, the greatest memories are people you met along the way. I'm just grateful for the many pearls I've met so far, and wish I get to be that person for travellers to come :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a lot of people while travelling, got hosted and hosted myself :). CS mainly helped me as I was living in Beirut and didn't know anyone in first place. I have met awesome people there, all CS members !

Interests

I'm passionate by any kind of arts !(writing/drawing/painting/music/photography...).
And travelling of course ! Why else would I be here ? ;).
I also feel very concerned about Ecology, and alternative ways of life...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : Any Tim Burton's and Oldies : "All about eve", "It's a wonderful life", "Singing in the rain" films from the thirties always amaze me !

Music : Any kind really, up for discoveries ! But if I have to make a preference then, I'll never get tired of jazz (Cyrille Aimée, Ibrahim Maalouf...)

Books : I have to confess, I am a book-worm ! I tend to cherish classics, some of my favorite authors of all times are Roald Dahl, Andrée Chédid...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in the middle east for a year was the most amazing experience I had the chance to live so far.
