Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started a couple of years ago in Canada and I had some great experiences. My hosts were lovely and one of them even became a really close friend!

Interests

I love nature, going for long walks in the forest with my dogs, enjoying every moment, sitting in the grass in the sunshine or watching things go by. I love all animals and I'm fond of gardening (especially vegetables). I like doing creative thinghs like drawing or handicrafts. I have a house full of things - old and new and upcycled. And, of course, I like to meet nice people from all over the world, to hear different languages and to listen to different stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

All movies with Sandra Bullock, Goldie Hawn and Francois Arnaud.
All kinds of music, for example Beatles, Sting, etc. Also some French chanson and some German pieces.
Many different books from more or less well known writers. Mainly biographies and books about living on the countryside.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My time in Canada was a unique and memorable experience. Travelling there without knowing a person and without knowing where to go tomorrow changed part of me (in a positive way).
