I think I can describe myself as being an open-minded, generous, funny person.
I used to be very shy but that's no so true anymore - living in Paris and abroad and travelling has helped a lot with that.
I'm very interested in foreign languages, countries and cultures and this is why I'm studying International Relations now!
I'm a vegetarian 95% of the time but not a vegan (meaning I eat eggs and dairy products and honey, but I don't eat meat, fish or seafood - with a few exceptions from time to time)
I'm also a climbing amateur, although I've never tried outdoor climbing - hopefully soon!

Era muy tímida hace unos años pero ahora ya no es cierto – ¡vivir en París y al extranjero (Inglaterra) y viajar me ayudó mucho!
Estoy muy interesada en lenguas, culturas y países extranjeros, ¡por eso estoy estudiando relaciones internacionales ahora!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing to me is a great way to discover new places and meet new people with lots to tell!! And also to have a real idea what locals' life is like which I think is the best way to know a country/culture :)
I've been travelling quite a bit over the last few years and I'm becoming more and more addicted to it...
I've met many people who use Couchsurfing, and some of the bloggers I follow are big fans too.
I've only used it once so far, in France, and it's been a really nice experience - I hope I can return the favour soon, when I have an address in Paris!

Couchsurfing para mí es una excelente forma de descubrir nuevos lugares y conocer a nuevas personas que seguramente tienen mucho que contar! También me parece que da una idea real de la vida de los lugareños y eso para mí esa es la mejor manera de conocer un país/una cultura :)
En los últimos años he viajado un poco y estoy volviéndome adicta a ello…
Conocí a muchas personas que utilizan Couchsurfing, y a algunos de los bloggers que sigo también les encanta.
Sólo lo he utilizado una vez hasta ahora, en Francia, y fue una muy buena experiencia – espero poder devolver el favor pronto, ¡cuando tenga dirección en París!

Music, Movies, and Books

That's a difficult question! I love Pride & Prejudice and 19th century literature as well as 20th century one (I know American 20th century literature more, eg. the Beat Generation writers/poets), Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and many a French writer (Romain Gary being one I particularly love).
I've also really enjoyed reading some of the books in Spanish I've studiedd like "Malena es un nombre de tango" (Almudena Grandes) (or one I've read recently called "El olvido que seremos" (Héctor Abad Faciolince)
I'm a curious writer generally and keen to discover more!

In terms of movies that's just way too difficult, but I like French films from Cédric Klapisch or casting Louis Garrel, funnier ones like Astérix & Obélix... I also like biopics quite a bit, and films 'based on a true story' (The Imitation Game for instance). I like history films, blockbusters not so much! Not such a big fan of super artsy films but I do like independent films - as long as they're understandable let's say!

¡Es una pregunta muy difícil de contestar! Me encanta “Orgullo y Prejuicio” y la literatura del siglo XIX, y también del XX (conozco a literatura de los EE.UU del XX más bien que a la literatura británica de esta época creo, por ejemplo Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg y los autores/poetas de la Generación Beat), Harry Potter, El Señor de los Anillos y muchos autores franceses (Romain Gary es uno a los que más quiero).
También me encanté leer a ciertos de los libros de lengua española que estudié como “Malena es un nombre de tango” de Almudena Grandes o uno que leí recientemente y que se llamaba “El olvido que seremos” de Héctor Abad Faciolince.
En cuento a películas simplemente es demasiado difícil de contestar, pero me gustan películas francesas como las de Cédric Klapisch o en los que interpreta Louis Garrel, otros más divertidos como Astérix & Obélix… También me gustan biografías cinematográficas y películas “basadas en un hecho real” (Descifrando Enigma/El código Enigma por ejemplo). Me gustan películas históricas, pero superproducciones no tanto. Tampoco me encantan las películas demasiadas “artsy” o “en la onda” – me gustan películas independientes siempre que estén comprensibles, digamos.

To be honest I've never done anything crazy like going bungee juping so I'm not sure, but I've really enjoyed visiting Oxford, Cambridge, London, the Dartmoor National Park, and the short week I've spent in Italy (Milan-Firenze-Sienna-Torino)
