I'm currently studying philosophy in Mannheim, Germany as a part of my bachelor's degree. It's my last semester and I have to admit that after four years of studying I look forward to being done (for now) :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been here for a looong time, but I haven't been active for a couple of years. I have had some absolutely amazing experiences with CouchSurfing and I will always be thankful to this website!

Interests

I love the outdoors. So whenever I can, I go hiking and camping - I definitely feel more at home outdoors than indoors. Usually I travel alone - simply because I enjoy the absolute freedom.

Music: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Mastodon, Grizzly Bear, Graveyard, Enya, Dark Dark Dark, Metallica, Jethro Tull, Tool, Björk, Kurt Vile, Eddie Vedder, José Gonzáles, Kent, Black Sabbath, Caspa & Rusko. I also enjoy listening to the soundtracks of for example LOTR and Skyrim

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Fight Club, American Beauty, Lost in Translation, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Predator, The Edge of Tomorrow, The Big Lebowski, The Imitation Game

Series: The Simpsons, Futurama, American Dad, Archer, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Vikings, , The Office, Black Books, Walking Dead

Games: Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us, Skyrim.

Books: I read a lot of philosophy and academic works in disciplines such as anthropology, sociology of religion and history of religion. Besides that, I have throughly enjoyed these writers: Tolkien, Tomas Espedal, Jack Kerouac, Jonathan Safran Foer, Herbjørg Wassamo, Margaret Atwood, Hunter S. Thompson, Boris Pasternak, Arthur Golden, Khaled Hosseini, Søren Ulrik Thomsen, Stephen King.
