I'm a Master's student in Mechanical engineering hailing from Kolkata, India. I live in Stockholm and am staying in Sweden since August, 2018.

I'm new to Stockholm and am still on my way to visit every scenic place and get acquainted with most of the places in the city.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I think Couch surfing is a must-have for any student like me, who would like to meet new people when visiting new places, get to know them, the city, the culture and to lastly, to lower the budget of one's travel as well. I will be visiting plenty of cities throughout Europe and CS is a great platform for me and is a win-win scenario for both the guest and the host.

兴趣

I like to cook and when I feel like it, I try to cook something new. You're welcome to eat any Indian dish cooked by me. I read book, mainly of fiction genre but I do read history, anthropology and geography too. My pastime while travelling to my university is to solve Sudoku.

Swimming is one of my favourite exercises and unfortunately, I am not able to swim on a regular basis. I'm always open to meeting new people, hanging out and roaming various places in the city.

音乐、电影和书籍

I like to listen to a few pop songs but like listening to quite a many old songs from some renowned bands, be them rock, classic or country. I am not a fan of rap nowadays but I used to listen to it earlier. I also was interested in the songs of Bollywood till the first decade of this century but am not so inclined anymore.

I like to read books on fiction and fantasy but more than that, I read topics on history, anthropology, demographics as well as geography.

I am up for any film belonging to the noir genre. Secondly, I prefer films of historical background as well.

Being in Stockholm, I suppose seeing Aurora Borealis has been a great experience but I'm always up for more of Northern Lights.
