About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Settle down in Almere to save up for the next big trip.

ABOUT ME

All my life I have never lived in one place longer than 6 years, travelling is just in my blood. My family decided to emigrate to canada when I was 8 and we lived there for 2,5 years. Therefore I dont have dutch, but an Canadian accent in my english.
In the Netherlands I finished my education in Business Engineering while trying to travel as much as possible. I've seen alot of countries in the world, but I still haven't seen enough and im still loving it!

PHILOSOPHY

Live now.
If you dont try, youll never know.
The world is a book, and those who dont travel only read one page.
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have been surfing at a few places and hosted a few people in my last appartment in Oslo. Im still quite a beginner but I love the whole idea behind couchsurfing and meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far GREAT! Officially I have only been hosted a couple of times, but during the travels I have had many hosts that offered a place to stay off the books. I have hosted a few people in Oslo to return the favor to the community and meet lots of new people.

Interests

My interests are mainly travelling (as you may have noticed), motorbikes and I try to fix anything I can get my hands on.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading books now and then, but I dont have any favorites. Rather Id watch a good movie with people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Aaah there are so many! I must say driving through the Himalayas on the motorbike was one of the best things I have done in my life. Spear-fishing in Broome, Australia is something else I'll never forget. Just the moment of getting the fish by free diving and putting it on your plate the same evening is raw beauty.
