About Me

I'm a person who love meeting new people from different places of this world. I love to know more about new cultures, places, traditions and try to follow the same when I'm there. Its now been 3 years since I started travelling (mostly solo).

My Travel Story
--------------------
I always dreamed of visiting very famous places within and outside India, but couldn't do so until I started earning. And when I got my first job, this COVID came and all my plans got cancelled. The lockdown situation was so frustating for me that I started having depression. As soon as the lockdown restrictions were lifted in India, I started my first trip in October 2020 with one of my very close friend. We went to a hill station (around 550 KMs from my home) on my bike. That was my first bike tour and I feel very refreshed and confident after completing this trip.
After this, I had several consecutive trips, atleast once in a month, till April 2021 when the second wave of COVID arrived. Again lockdown, again frustation, again depression. And this time, I quit my job. Not because I'm a loser, but because I couldn't wait anymore to live my dreams. On my last working day, I came to my office in Delhi. I submitted my ID card and laptop, went to the bus station and took a bus to Manali (a town in Himalayas). I stayed in Spiti Valley for a week. It was the first time when I was at such an altitude of around 4000m. I cannot explain my experience in words, but would say it was worth it. I came across lot of new places, new people, new language, new stories, new weather and even some bad experiences(landslides). This pushed me more towards my dreams and I started travelling again.
Fortuanately, I got a few freelancing projects at that time because of which I was able to manage my travel expenses. In Jan'22, I started working as a Software Developer in an organization with flexibility to work from home, so that I can travel as well as work. In mid year, I went for a solo trip to Europe.
It was my first international trip ever and because of this I was afraid for what I was about to face. Yeah, I did face some problems yet I enjoyed this trip to my fullest. I went to France and Italy for around 2 weeks. I experienced very different culture which we have here in India. I talked to different people and got to know many new things about their country. I also visited Venice, which was my dream destination for years. Being to a place which you always wanted to go is such a beautiful experience.
As soon as I was back to India, I started hosting people from various places. Also, I no longer have WFH policy in my office, I'm not able to travel a lot. But soon this is going to change!!

Life Goals
-------------
My current goal is to keep travelling and complete my travel bucket list. OMG! that is too long but yeah I've time.
