I've just begun my journey as a world traveler and am so excited about the possibilities. Along the way I have met some wonderful individuals who have opened their hearts and homes, realizing that this life is very much a reality for those who choose it. Well, I choose it! I am so very thankful and gracious for those who understand the journey, and all to happy to help a fellow traveler experiencing the same in the place that I call home.

Life in all its many iterations..people, places, art, culture, environment. I am a sound engineer by trade, work in alternative medicine cultivation (and I love it!!). I absolutely enjoy creating..music..visual art, and tasty meals made with 100% of my love. I adore the great outdoors and feeling my connection to the ultimate life force in this way. I have a passion for cycling and frisbee, but intend to give a try at climbing, surfing, flying in different forms, and whatever else I am given or create the opportunity to experience.

I adore sound and the manipulation of it into music! Really too many to give a favorite, but I will start with:

Roy Ayers, Fela & Femi Kuti, Erykah Badu, A Tribe Called Quest, really digging on Robert Glasper at the moment. Victor Duplaix, Clara Hill, Jimpster, and all things electro soul. Deep House, roots hip hop, Salsa, Cumbia, Bachata, Merengue, all forms of jazz, STP, The Pixies, and generally old school power rock, classic rocks, Phoebe Snow, Bonnie Rait..the list goes on..and on..and on....

Current read: A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle

Movies: If I can sit still or stay awake long enough to watch one, I really enjoy thoughtful and visually stunning documentaries. I also enjoy sci-fi, comedy, action and thrillers. Preferably ones with substance, that are thought provoking, and well written/performed.

I walked through the streets of Cairo (if you've ever done this..you know that's a feat in itself) crossed the bridge to Giza and continued on to the Great Pyramids..touching the sand..feeling the stones..entering the ancient tombs..taking in the aroma that still remained of the lotus flower from thousands of years before my arrival.
