ABOUT ME

Eager to synthesize the threads of my life - finding ways to engage others in creative and restorative projects. I am interested in how we can cultivate positive ecological action without sacrificing the color and richness of the arts and spirit.

PHILOSOPHY

I wrote this poem some time ago and it still resonates a personal philosophy. I suppose an addition might be to say that our physical and real-world surroundings are the pinnacle of achievement for all of the rest of the unseen; the tip of the iceberg made seen - and in that way how we live and work and play in the physical and the work that we put in here is of the utmost importance.

The ongoing initiation called life,
is slowly but surely us shaping,
and with every blessing or strife,
What we need or not, is giving or taking
Lives held in moments are decorated different
Some sad and ignorant yet none of them mispent.

Donning masks we play our roles,
and deeply draw lessons for later.
Carrying the secrets with our Souls,
until we can be comfortable naked before our Maker
Only so long can we be pretenders
for Life's long learning is to arrive at Surrender.

Presently surfing as I make my way back home to Santa Fe, New Mexico.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed with highly compassionate people in India, Pakistan and China, and have a had a generally uplifting and amazing time with CS.
