Hey there! I am a 23 year old artist from Stroudsburg PA. I am a freelance illustrator and designer, who is also interested in computer science! I love sci-fi and fantasy, and love to create imaginary worlds while exploring ours.

Hi there, Couch Surfers! I am a 31 year old artist/photographer/filmmaker/art director who likes to make positive change through the arts! I love to be creatively open to anything and everyone around me, and always look forward to meeting new people and sharing life experiences!!

Together! -
We've redesigned town seals, created branding and logos for businesses, painted murals, founded and administered a movement called Project Street Art which resurfaced (quite literally) two towns in Northeastern Pennsylvania, worked on creative projects, and most importantly, have built an incredible and meaningful relationship with one another. We're so excited to meet some interesting and fresh faces wherever we go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are driving across the country, and our destination is the San Francisco Bay Area. Why? The opportunity to meet like minded individuals, better ourselves and our lives, find rewarding careers in the creative field, have positive life experiences.
We desperately need help getting on our feet in an area that we are unfamiliar with, and don't know anyone. We need couches (or floors even!) to crash on while we look for jobs and housing!

Sonia quit her job, sold her car, has been working diligently on furthering her computer skills and artistic endeavors.

Shane is leaving behind his photography and video clientele, which he has been building for over a decade in the Poconos and Lehigh Valley area in Pennsylvania. An art scene that he held very dear to his heart, and friends and family that he loves.

Here we come, San Francisco!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sonia- I entered a competition for The ArtOrder (an online art blog)... unfortunately didn't win, but my entry will be published in an eBook that they will be releasing!

Shane- Spearheaded an arts movement in Stroudsburg, PA to promote change and progression through the arts! We painted on panels to cover eye sores in town, and on walls of businesses, private properties and even bridges!
