Hi! I´m Sonia, or Nia as my artistic name. I am 22, and I´m from Spain.
How to start. I been travelling for quiet long time, visiting communities and ecovillages all over Europe.
I´m an artist. I play guitar, ukelele and some piano, but my favourite thing is sing and write my own song (you can search me in Youtube if you want as Nia Dahl.)

I try to do art wherever I go, to always give something and to put my light and expres myself. I love to do big murals of paint. I was study Fine arts, but I start to felt bad about the university, because of the stress that being there caused me. I didn´t able to did the things and the art that I wanted to do, so I started to travel, also to find different ways to live, in particular in communities, surrounding by nature.
I love to walk in the forest, listen the nature, listen all the little and big beings. Listen myself and listen the nature that we are,it give me the opportunity of inspiration and living.
Travelling give me the opportunity to feel free and to meet a lot of sources of inspiration, in special people.

Art is the way to express myself, eventhought I love to talk when I feel confortable; actually I consider talk like anothe kind of art. Share experiences is always a gift.

More things about me is that I love animals, is why I don´t use them for any aspect in my life, as much I can. I consider them like part of my family. Related with this I love cooking. I prepared vegan meals, and I experiment with the food, because I love to do art with everything. But especially I love to cook for others!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people, to know the different histories of human beings.
As I said before I looking for communities to live in, and to learn, but also I pass throught cities time by time to do some money with my music. I am a street musician also, I always travel with my guitar, and if I can with all my equipment. By the time the music is my source of money, so I find couch surfing perfect to create network in between cities all over the world, and to do the experience of being in a city much more interesting.

I did Couchsurfing before in my travel for half a year in Greece. I don´t have any review because I did it from another profile with one friend. Was such a great experience to meet locals. Now that I discover this platform I´m doing a new profile for my nexts travels.

-Music: I love a lot of kind of music, but if I have to chose I will chose spanish songwriters as Pedro Pastor, Silvia Pérez Cruz or el Kanka. The mexican artist like Silvana Estrada or Natalia Lafourcade.
Other artists that I like : Mose, Janis Joplin, Nessi Gomez, El buho, Sam Amidon, Eddie Vedder, Muerdo, Alex Serra, Danit, MPL, Rio Ciclo, Vetusta Morla...

-Films and books: I´m not so good to remember the titles but I will try.
*I like spiritual books, philosophy and sociological studies. Some writers : Krishnamurti, Shakti Gawain, Erich Fromm ,Miranda Grey, Clarissa Pinkola Estés.
*Films that I love : La belle Verte, Into the wild, El laberinto del fauno ( I love the some of the films of Guillermo del Toro), Avatar, Peaceful Warrior.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Realizing that only the love we share with the world matters. We have to follow what our intuition tells us and make the decisions that we really want. Something incredible that has happened to me is realizing all this meeting people and getting to know me. Now that the theory is known, it only remains to put it into practice.

Sometimes I am so intense, but I promise I can be funny also! XD
